After a busy Christmas baking season, it’s time to restock your pantry, clean out your oven and get ready for a delicious year ahead! To help us develop recipes we know our Queen Bakers will love, we took a look at your most loved, baked and searched for recipes over the past year.

From treasured classics to brand new favourites, be sure to check in with this collection before planning your 2019 to-bake list.

10. Banana Caramel Upside Down Cake

We released this recipe over winter and couldn’t believe how many of you loved it! Retro baking is still very much on-trend, and the combination of caramelised brown sugar, cinnamon and bananas makes this one very special cake.

9. Vanilla Panna Cotta

A classic panna cotta is the perfect way to end a dinner party, and we can guarantee this recipe has been thoroughly tried and tested. Choosing premium ingredients is absolutely key, with fragrant vanilla as the hero flavour every time. Recipes rich in fat tend to coat your taste buds, meaning a stronger vanilla is necessary to get that delicious flavour hit. Queen Vanilla Bean Paste is the perfect choice!

8. Red Velvet Cheesecake Trifle

Our much-loved Red Velvet Cheesecake Trifle has become something of a cult Christmas recipe over the past few years, and 2018 was no different. Scrolling through all your trifle photos in January made our return to work all the sweeter!

7. Bee Sting Cake

Oozing with a thick, creamy custard, this double-layered brioche cake won the hearts of our Queen Bakers. While it seems like a lengthy recipe, don’t let the time investment put you off; it’s well worth it for the end result.

6. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies

Chocolate and peanut butter is a match made in heaven, and we’re so glad you all agree. This recipe is perfect for weeknight baking, and a touch of sprinkles make an otherwise simple cookie look a little bit fancy.

5. Strawberries & Cream Sheet Cake

Sheet cakes are so en vogue right now, and we couldn’t be happier! Easy to prep, decorate and serve, they’re the time-poor baker’s best friend. We released this recipe as a challenge to our Baking Club Facebook group, and couldn’t believe how many of you baked and loved it.

4. Gingerbread Marshmallow Slice

With a spicy biscuit base, fluffy marshmallow centre and a rich chocolate topping, this festive recipe went viral over Christmas. While marshmallow may seem a little intimidating, we were so pleased to see our bakers give it a crack with wonderful results.

3. Creamy Ginger Nut Cheesecake

For bakers hunting down easy, crowd-pleasing desserts, our creamy Ginger Nut Cheesecake is a game changer! Whip it up without even turning on your oven, then decorate however you please. This recipe really look off during the strawberry crisis; we loved seeing your fabulously fruity cheesecakes pop up all over Facebook.

2. Vanilla Custard Magic Cake

Our famous Vanilla Custard Magic Cake has made the number one spot two years in a row, so we weren’t surprised to see it in the top ten once again! With nothing but basic, pantry-staple ingredients, this magical recipe creates three layers of vanilla perfection from one simple custard batter.
