How to use maple syrup in baking

Of all the things Canada has gifted the world; easy off oven cleaner, peanut butter, Justin Trudeau… Maple Syrup might just be the best thing out of the land of the maple leaf. Here at Queen, we’re grateful for our Canadian friends (and maple experts) who package up a special batch of grade A Canadian maple syrup just for us.

Pure Maple Syrup is an incredibly versatile ingredient that holds a special place in every pantry. So we’ve put together a few recipes we hope will inspire you to bake with our other favourite ingredient, Queen Pure Maple Syrup.

 

1. Maple Cheesecake with Cinnamon Pear Topping

Pass the Sushi is passing on this gem of a cheesecake with her unbelievable Maple Cheesecake with Cinnamon Pear Topping. 2. Banana Bread with Vanilla Maple Glaze

Tested, tweaked and treasured from generation to generation, banana bread is one of those heritage bakes that brings back memories of baking with Mum. We’ve given this humble recipe a loving upgrade with a dash of maple syrup, creating a subtle but pure note of maple and a delicious crunchy crust.

 

3. Maple Pecan Pie with Cinnamon Spelt Crust
