Ingredients

  1. 2 tbsp (20g) cocoa powder

  2. 1 cup almond meal

  3. 1/3 cup (55g) coconut flour

  4. ½ cup (35g) shredded coconut

  5. ¼ cup (60ml) coconut oil, melted

  6. ¼ cup (60ml) rum

  7. ¼ cup (60ml) double/dollop thick cream (or sour cream)

  8. 2 tsp Queen Finest Madagascar Pure Vanilla Extract

  9. 5 tbsp (100ml/g) Sugar Free Original Maple Flavoured Syrup

  10. Additional shredded coconut, to roll

Method

    Combine cocoa, almond meal, coconut flour, shredded coconut in a large bowl. Mix to combine.

    Add coconut oil, rum, cream, Vanilla Extract and Sugar Free Original Maple Flavoured Syrup to dry ingredients and mix to form a roll-able dough.

    Roll into balls and roll in shredded coconut to coat. Chill for 30-60 minutes before enjoying!

Recipe Notes: keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.

Hi ,sorry I’ m from England and just wanted to ask is almond meal the same as ground almond s or is it different? Thank you I love your recipes & can’t wait to try them ,I can’t buy any of the brands here but can substitute..after being vegan for 44 yrs since tge age of 10 ..learning to substitute in tbe kitche n is second nature ..lol.thanks for including vegan recipes & recipes tbat can be adapted easily ,thank you xx👍
