If you’ve been eyeing off a beautiful rosette cake, this is the tutorial for you! Join Vanessa from Cake Style as she shows us how to master graduated layers of swirly buttercream rosettes. For an easier version of this cake, stick to a single colour and pipe your rosettes a little larger, meaning it will be iced that little bit quicker!

To create this cake at home, you will need:

  • 1 x crumb coated cake (or a foam dummy cake if you’re practising)
  • A spatula
  • A cake scraper or ruler
  • A piping bag
  • A piping coupler (optional)
  • No. 1M piping tip
  • A laminating sheet to practice piping rosettes
  • Buttercream icing (your own recipe or our Buttercream Icing premix)

Here are a few stills from her video – go watch it, we hope you learn something new!
