This spectacular buttercream flower wreath cake tutorial by Cake Style is one of the best out there. The hardest part of this cake is learning the flicks of the wrist when piping the flowers, but rest assured, once you’ve mastered this technique you will find yourself piping flowers for all of your cakes and cupcakes!

To create this cake at home, you will need:

  • 1 x 8 inch iced cake (or a foam dummy cake if you’re practising)
  • 6 x plastic piping bags
  • 5 x smooth piping couplers
  • 1 x flower nail
  • Piping tips in No.2,104, 352, 406
  • Baking paper squares
  • Cookie sheets
  • A cake turntable
  • Buttercream icing in 5 different peachy pink pastel colours (your own recipe or our Buttercream Icing premix)
