Prepare Queen Buttercream Icing mix according to pack instructions or your favourite buttercream icing recipe from scratch. Divide mixture into two bowls and colour one bowl with your desired shade of colour using Queen Food Colour Gels or Liquid Colours.
Transfer icing to double layered plastic wrap and wrap tightly to create a sausage shape.
Place wrapped icing into a piping bag and pipe as per normal – the result will be a two-toned swirly icing. This technique works with 3 and four icing colours as well, just be sure not to over-filling the plastic wrap otherwise the buttercream icing ‘sausages’ wont fit in the piping bag!
