In this privacy policy “we“, “us” and “our” collectively refers to Dr Oetker Queen Australia Pty Ltd, Queen New Zealand Pty. Ltd and/or Dr. Oetker New Zealand Limited and their related group companies.

We have developed this privacy policy to inform you of how we will collect, hold, use, and disclose your personal information.  This includes information we collect from our website https://www.queen.com.au (Website) and as otherwise specified in this privacy policy.

We are committed to complying with the privacy provisions of applicable legislation including the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (Privacy Act).

Third Parties

We share personal information with Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (Google) for the purpose of analytics and personalisation in relation to our Website.  Google processes your personal information on our behalf (data processor).  Our configuration of Google Analytics and Google Optimize does not allow Google to use data that is gathered through Google Analytics or Google Optimize to improve Google products and services.

If you interact with us on Facebook or Instagram, your personal information is also subject to the Facebook Data Policy and the Facebook Cookie Policy.

Your personal information may also be disclosed to the following third parties:

  • Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour Dublin 2, Ireland;

We may transmit usage information from our Website about our site visitors to third-party ad servers for the purpose of targeting our Internet banner advertisements on other sites.  To do this, we use web beacons and cookies provided by our third-party ad servers on our site.  The information that is collected and logged on our behalf through this technology is not personally identifiable to our third-party ad servers and we do not capture or transmit any web site usage information that can personally identify you.

We may process information about how you interact with our Website, e.g. from where you are referred to our Website, how long you use our Website and the path you take through individual sub-pages.  For example, we can record whether you found us via a search engine (and if so, under which search term) or an advertisement, how long you spent browsing the content of a particular page and how many pages you visited in total.

We also use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • provide a uniform context (session) to multiple requests to our Website, in order to facilitate login-secured parts of our website or checkout/payment processes (as relevant); and

Storage of data and overseas disclosure

We may provide your personal information to third parties in countries other than New Zealand if we have reasonable grounds to believe the recipient is required to protect your personal information in a way that, overall, provides comparable safeguards to those required by New Zealand’s privacy laws.
