Creamy, simple and classic, this recipe has been in our family for years and I always make it for morning tea!

Method

  1. Step 1

    Gently warm milk and add to melted butter, mix to combine. In a large bowl combine biscuits and coconut, then add warm milk, butter, condensed milk and lemon extract. Mix well and press into a lined slice tray. Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    For the icing, beat butter and icing sugar and smooth and fluffy, approximately 5-7 minutes. Add Lemon Extract and Vanilla and mix to combine. Spread over slice and finish with extra dessicated coconut. Cut into squares to serve.
